The Fine Print

Yea yea yea, we know- this stuff is no fun, but it’s very important you read it all carefully. If you have ANY questions, do not hesitate to shoot us an email.

The design process cannot begin until your start date & until we have all the information requested from you in the Blog-Doo Design Form/welcome letter.

When your start date begins, please be prepared. We will be emailing you that day & will need things from you. If we don’t hear from you within 5 days, we will have to push back your start date as we do have multiple clients at one time & clients scheduled.

We cannot get started on your site until Blog-Doo’s ‘Disclaimer Form’ is signed and sent back to us via e-mail. Also, we will not send out our Blogging Secrets Thumb Drive until Blog-Doo’s ‘Terms of Release Form’ is signed and sent back to us via e-mail.

Blog-Doo is not responsible for the purchase of your domain or hosting. This is solely the responsibility of the client.

We do offer our recommendations for domain & hosting providers, but as we are in the business of design, we are not experts in this field and encourage you to do your own research if you have any concerns.

When we complete your mood board, you are entitled to three revisions of the mood board.

We encourage your input during the design process, but we also understand opinions can change. Once the site is complete & built to your specifications- we will give you one week to make minor changes. We will not be able to do a complete redesign of any pages/ major elements (i.e. logo/layout). If you want a complete redesign of a page or a logo, you will be subject to an additional cost.

As we are blog designers, there are some things that just cannot be done. If this is the case we will let you know beforehand. We will use our best & commercially available efforts to provide you with our best work.

As we have busy schedules, we do request that communication is limited to email contact only.

We require to have your payment upfront in order to hold your spot.

If you decide to independently edit or update the site or to hire someone else to make changes to the site after completion, we’re not responsible for any of these changes or if any problems arise.

We ask the client to agree to keep all trade secrets provided by Blog-Doo confidential.

Client agrees to guarantee any creative elements used on their site posted by them is owned by the client. Blog-Doo is not held responsible for blog elements furnished by the client. In the same regard, client will hold Blog-Doo harmless as well as protect Blog-Doo from any claim or suit arising due not legally sourcing any content that is someone else’s.

Blog-Doo does not guarantee that our services will bring site traffic or business to client’s site.

A footer will be added to the bottom of your site stating “Designed by Blog-Doo” with a link to our site. We will match the colors to the design of your site. This footer can not be removed as long as you have your design live.

When the design is complete, we ask you not to edit any of our images as this could potentially compromise our work.

If you wish to have free reign to edit our design we offer the purchase of design rights from us for $250. This fee will make it so you can personally edit any files, request our Photoshop files for your site, and remove our footer. In this case, your site will also be removed from our portfolio & we will not be held responsible for any issues that may arise in the future.

If you are getting a logo designed by Blog-Doo and wish to purchase complete design rights, it will be $150. This means we will not post it on our social media networks, portfolio, or claim the design as ours.

If we feel that the working relationship between Blog-Doo & client is not cohesive to productivity, we do reserve the right to refuse service.

We do not offer refunds on completed sites. If the site hasn’t yet been completed and you decide you want to go in another direction, we will refund you 75% of the total amount paid.
